Rangers beat Pike Central 41-6

Rangers hosted Pike Central for their home coming night, beating the chargers 41-6 .  Senior, Ben Braunecker started the scoring with a 6 yard run and Sophomore Dakota Begle hit the extra point.   Senior Miles Leonard intercepted a pass and then completed a drive by rushing for a 1 yard touch down with senior Austin Weyer completing the extra point.   Senior Dakota Geyer ran for a 14 yard touch down but extra point was blocked.   Ben Braunecker returns a punt 91 yards for a touch down to help finish the half.   Miles connected to Ben to for the 2 point conversion.  

2011 Football Home Coming Results:
Evan Olinger, Son of Kevin and Sue Olinger was crowned King and Adi Dilger, Daughter of Chris and Kristy Dilger was crowned Queen.  

In the second half - Senior, Dakota Geyer ran for an 8 yard touch down with Austin Weyer kicking the extra point.  Sophomore, Josh Vogeral, ran for a two yard touch down (2 of his 47 yards for the night) but the Rangers were unsuccessful at the extra point kick.  

Other players with honorable mention for Player of the week: 
Junior, Lance Buechler 3 catches for 93 yards, Junior Travis Schnell with 81 yards rushing and Senior Dakota Geyer 56 yards rushing and 27 yards receiving.
