Rangers Beat Perry Central 21-7

Forest Park beats Perry Central 21-7. The game started off slow for both the Rangers and Commodores ending the first quarter 0-0. At the beginning of the 2nd quarter Perry Central scored by running the ball. With a little over 5 minutes to play in the 2nd quarter Forest Park scored with a pass from senior quarterback Grant Welp to senior wide receiver Kyle Schwinghamer for a 31 yard touchdown. Junior kicker Austin Weyer made the extra point. Beginning the 3rd quarter Forest park moved the ball and quickly took a lead with another 31 yard touchdown pass from Welp to Schwinghamer. Senior kicker Jonathan Russell made the extra point. The Ranger defense stepped up slowing the Perry Central offense and ended the 3rd quarter with a 28 yard pass from Welp to junior wide receiver Ben Braunecker. Senior kicker Gina Bettag made the extra point. 

Total Offense: 248 Yards
