On Friday, October 15th, Forest Park ran over Tell City to win 28-7. The first half didn't provide many highlights other than the Ranger defense holding tight to kept the score to 0-0 at halftime. The Rangers found the rushing game to start the third quarter with sophomore running back Travis Schnell scoring with an 18 yard touchdown. Senior kicker Jonathan Russell completed the extra point kick. Schnell continued his rushing by scoring 4 yard touchdown. Senior kicker, Gina Bettag completed the extra point. Senior wide receiver Kyle Schwinghamer made an impressive 6 yard touchdown catch from senior quarterback Grant Welp. Freshman kicker Dakota Begle converted the extra point. Welp gave the Marksmen a taste of the Ranger air attack by connecting to junior wide receiver Lynk Kordes for a 12 yard touchdown pass. Senior kicker Jonathan Russell completed the kick.

The night began honoring the senior football players, managers and cheerleaders. We would like to recognize this talented class of 2010 along with their supportive parents for playing such a key role in the foundation of Ranger Football. Special honor and thanks to SP&F Football co-founders, Jeff Bettag and Eric Uebelhor, for their dedication and commitment to the program. Go Rangers!
