Rangers Beat Southridge 17-6

Forest Park was ready to play against Southridge on Friday 9/3/10. Winning 17-6. Outplaying them on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. Junior kicker Austin Weyer started the scoring with a 28 yard Field Goal kick. Junior wide receiver Ben Braunecker made a  24 yard touchdown pass from senior quarterback Grant Welp. The extra point was made by junior kicker Austin Weyer. Sophomore running back Travis Schnell scored on a 2 yard touchdown run with the extra point made by senior kicker Jonathan Russell. Several players stepped up with impressive defensive plays to stop Southridge. Junior running back Dakota Geyer and Braunecker both had interceptions that would make any highlight tape.

Note: Junior wide receiver Ben Braunecker was awarded the News 25 Home Team Friday's 25 Play of the Night.
