JV Loses to Gibson Southern 25-6

The Forest Park Junior Varsity football team played at Gibson Southern Monday evening 8/23/10. Both teams were slow to start leading to a 6-0 halftime score with the Titans scoring first. The Rangers offensive team showed some life in the second half. Freshman running back Dakota Madden took several hand-offs to lead the Rangers on the ground. Freshman quarterback Trent Bayer connected with Freshman wide receiver Alec Hassfurther late in the 3rd quarter to score the Rangers only touchdown. The Rangers defense, however, let up in the second half giving up three touchdowns on three big plays. The Rangers were defeated 25-6.

The JV Rangers next game will be played at home against Perry Central on August 30th. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 EDT.
