About Marc Rogier

Marc is the 22 year old son of David and Ann Rogier of Ferdinand. He was a member of the 2008 inaugural varsity football team at Forest Park High School. Marc was recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called Severe Aplastic Anemia. He has been undergoing treatment for this disease at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis since the end of November. Marc has started an immunosuppressive drug therapy and may potentially need a bone marrow transplant. His name has been added to the bone marrow registry waiting for a possible match. In addition to the benefit meal, the Dubois County Leukemia Foundation will be conducting bone marrow swab tests to find bone marrow matches for Marc as well as all those in need. For more information about Severe Aplastic Anemia, please visit the web site atwww.AAMDS.org.
