Wes Fink joins Ranger Football as Assistant Coach

Please help us give a big “Ranger Nation” welcome to Ranger Football’s new Assistant Coach, Wes Fink.Here is a short bio on Wes and a few of his accomplishments:

  • Graduated from Clarksville High School in Clarksville, TN

  • Lettered in baseball, basketball, and football

  • Three year letterman at quarterback for the Clarksville High School Wildcats

  • Passed for a school record 2,364 yards and 19 touchdowns in his senior year and also rushed for 524 yard with nine scores to lead the Wildcats to the Tennessee State football playoffs

  • Selected as the 2004 All-Area Football Player of the Year

  • Named the TSSAA State Player of the Week on two occasions in 2004

  • Threw for 1,268 yards with 15 touchdowns and added four rushing touchdowns en route to earning All-Region and All-Area First team recognition as a junior

  • Named 2005 All-Area Baseball Co-Players of the Year and earned All-District 10 Baseball AAA and All-Area

  • Began his collegiate baseball career by redshirting at the University of Memphis in 2005 (Chose to attend Memphis over offers from Missouri, Mississippi State, Kentucky and a few others)

  • Transferred to the University of Southern Indiana where he was infielder for the Screaming Eagles baseball team and helped them earn the 2010 DII Baseball National Championship

  • Named to the 2010 NCAA DII Baseball Championship Series and the Midwest Regional All-Tournament teams

  • Played professional baseball for the Pittsfield Colonials in the Can-Am league where he was named on the All World Series team

  • Played infielder for the Dubois County Bombers where he was named to the Central Illinois Collegiate League All-Star team and helped the Bombers to a first place regular season and tournament crowns

  • Married Abby Leistner in 2010
